The Palmhouse
For the last ten years The Lasses (and Pete) have been firm favourites on the London Irish music scene. The bands new line up sees the addition of County Kerry flute player Elma McElligott and County Down vocalist/harpist Brona Mc Vittie who join long standing band members Karen Ryan (fiddle/mandola), Elaine Cornwall (fiddle), Maureen Linane (accordion) and Liverpool born Pete Quinn (piano/keyboard). Described by Irish Music Magazine as "one of the best bands on the scene today". The Lasses promise an evening of superb traditional music in the glorious surroundings of Sefton Park Palm House as they launch their 4th Album By Night and By Day.
